Revisiting the Titanfall universe with Titanfall 2 players can experience the game in both single player and multplayer as they once again command a massive mech on the field of battle. My friends and I all get PS4's for Christmas and one of my friends saw the trailer for this game and got it. He brought it to my house and we played the tutorial together and I fell in love.

The original Titanfall was a superb game that mixed mechs and FPS to make a truly competitive experience. Sadly, it was only an Xbox One exclusive so those who get the sequel on PS4 will do so having missed out on the first…unless they later plan on re-releasing it for the console.

Microsoft appeared to have an ace in the hole with exclusive rights to Titanfall for the Xbox One. The game was supposed to be the next step for the shooter genre; it had all of the potential in the world.

It isn't supposed to be like this. Multiplayer-focused shooters are supposed to be one-trick ponies, yet here we have Titanfall 2. As a multiplayer game, it improves on what was already a pretty singular experience.

Respawn are back doing what they do best, and that's making first-person shooters, and in Titanfall 2 they've made their finest since Modern Warfare. It's strange to think that, given the omission of a single-player campaign for the first game in the studio's fledgling series, we're almost surprised...

Titanfall was an amazing game that had so much going for it as a multiplayer shooter, but that's all it was. The game sadly lacked a single player campaign, and many of us could see the potential for such a mode in a future game in the series.
