The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine Review

Blood and Wine ends the saga of Geralt of Rivia in style, bringing with it a tale of charming vampires and troublesome friendship set in a stunning new landscape that departs from the bleakness we've known until now.

Beautiful new zone; Armor dyes; Strong story; Strategic boss battles

Weak antagonist

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood And Wine Review

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was hands down one of the finest games to release in 2015, bringing back the Witcher series in an incredible new way that raised t

fantastic story filled with complex characters; gorgeous visuals in an engrossing new world; loaded with consistently-engaging content; upgraded UI makes menu surfing less of a chore

simplistic combat leads to occasional repetition

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (for PlayStation 4)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sets the bar for open-world RPGs on the PS4. The world is gorgeous with realistic weather, sunrises, and sunsets. Combat is, for most of the game, fluid and fair, if unforgiving.

Massive open world; Lush scenery and noteworthy landscapes; Straightforward and fluid combat system

Buggy animation and collision detection; Frame rate decreases during complex multi-monster battles

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

One of my biggest mistakes is that I haven't still found the time to read Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher books because now I'd have a better knowledge of this rich and dark universe.

A vast improvement over The Witcher 2; captivating narrative and one kick-ass main character; a stunning and enormous world to explore; great quest structure; first-rate soundtrack what more do you need

Certain areas lack the visual splendor of outdoor areas; camera acts weird when combat starts in confined spaces like taverns

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Sloppy combat and ongoing optimisation can't quite spoil this dark fantasy adventure, set in a stunning world of blood and black magic.

Relentlessly beautiful vistas; Reading about horrifying ghosts and monsters; Playing cards with blacksmiths; Sailing between the isles of Skellige

Frustrating and punishing combat; Frame rate optimisation is ongoing..

The Witcher 3 presents a realistic, engaging, and dark fantasy world. With fast-paced combat, deep character customisation, and massive locations to explore, it's a game not to be missed.

Engaging world; tons to do; great writing; interesting characters

Tiny text; occasionally annoying controls; infrequent bugs and glitches

The Mild Hunt

Western RPGs, especially contemporary ones in the open-world style, are built on the supremacy of player choice. While developers will enforce a story in these games, the player typically gets to control almost every aspect of who the main character is.

Snowball fight

A character I liked showed up in the final showdown to immediately die

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review

The best game to hit this generation of consoles thus far. Go out, buy it, drink it all in.

Epic and emotional plot; Characters; regions and lore; add up to the most believable setting seen in years; Deep and intuitive upgrade system

Annoying horse AI; Over-reliance on Witcher Sense; No expansions until October (I want more now!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PlayStation 4) Second Opinion Review

CD Projekt Red's iconic The Witcher series makes its way to PlayStation for the first time with this latest release: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . The story of the Witcher has a considerable history, both as a series of games and before that.
