The Sims 3 Seasons review

Since The Sims 3 launched in 2009, Sims have vacationed in exotic lands, discovered new careers, mingled with celebrities and the supernatural, and maybe even adopted a pet or two. But. But! They've done it all to the backdrop of static weather.

The appearance of weather; Showing off your stylish outerwear; Seasonal holidays and festivities

Intrusive ads for DLC; Some bugs are still not fixed; How often your Sims get sick

The Sims 3: Seasons

Mediocre: An exercise in apathy, neither Solid nor Liquid. Not exactly bad, but not very good either. Just a bit 'meh,' really.

The Sims 3: Seasons Exapansion Pack – Review (Windows PC)

The latest release from The Sims line-up of expansions, Sims 3: Seasons, is looking to rain on your parade. But don't take that the wrong way. Your Sims can now experience rain, snow, heatstroke, and allergies. The additions featured in this expansion reach way beyond just seasonal changes, however.

Expansion pack encourages outdoor activities all year long.

The Sims 3: Seasons fulfills its duty as an expansion pack. It provides a new layer to the game, it gives players something that did not exist in the base game, and it offers enough new stuff to justify the purchase.

The Sims 3 Seasons

The Sims is a video game series well known around the world for taking real life and making it fun as a simulation that borders on parody and always provides some entertaining gameplay and funny interactions for all ages to enjoy.

The Sims 3: Seasons

EA has been pretty well known for recycling old Sims content and repackaging it for later games.  When it's done well, it can be a good thing and can be a source of continued entertainment for fans of a series.

Absolutely beautiful weather effects and attention to detail; Easy to integrate the new expansion into existing games; some interesting new features including one that can make Sims easy money

Lacking in seasonal activities; Including ones not always well executed; One necessary inclusion destroys a game staple

Review: The Sims 3 Seasons brings good cheer

Since its release in 2009, The Sims 3 has seen a number of expansions and add-ons to enhance its core gameplay. Over its course, we've seen pets, new traits, items, clothing, careers, and even supernatural creatures all added to the game. In short, the game basically has it all.

Your Sims Deserve to Have Seasons!

I have been a huge fan of The Sims and the Seasons expansion is pretty awesome. I love that the seasons change and that you can adjust how long each season should last. This is useful since when I am playing a character that needs to do a lot of gardening, winter gets pretty annoying since all your...

Holy weather, Batman!

I was really pleased with this purchase; it brings a new level of realism to the gameplay experience. I admit, my sims perished of heat and cold, and lightning bolts tend to zap the poor little bastards when they least expect it, but it's worth it.
