The Last of Us Remastered

I can see why The Last of Us won't be a game for everybody but I can guarantee most gamers casual and hardcore will love it. The release of The Last of Us is what persuaded me to finally buy a PS3 (slim). But now that I've got the PS4, I've upgraded to the remastered version of TLOU.

Well..; where do I start In terms of graphics, Naughty Dog has packed the game with plenty to see and stare at in amazement; The first scene with the play through of the introduction is stunning, exciting, and emotional all wrapped up in one.

**Originally, I wrote this review for the PS3 version; And the only con I could think of was graphics; One of the best things about the games is what I was most critical of; Even though, the graphics were great on the PS3, the problem was that the beauty and splendor of TLOU would have benefitted...

Impeccable storytelling and some of the most intense action of the last console generation, beautifully updated for the PS4

The Last of Us Remastered Review

The Last of Us Remastered is a worthy addition to the PS4's growing library of games, whilst not as beefy as the remaster could have been, the enhanced graphics are nice and only a few glitches in the unpatched game cause some issues - still well worth getting.

The Last of Us Remastered review

A year on from its release, The Last of Us remains as essential as ever. This PlayStation 4 update is the best version of a fantastic game, but veterans shouldn't expect a startling renovation.

The first time you encounter a Licker in the RCPD station, seeing the scale of the pyramid you just climbed as Lara Croft, Rinoa dragging Squall onto the dance floor at the ball, and finding out the truth about Booker and Comstock. These are examples of epic jaw dropping moments in games.

The Last of Us: Remastered PlayStation 4 Review

The last of Us has proven to be one of the last generations crowning achievements since it launch in mid 2013. It had been a while since the team at Naughty Dog had departed from the much-loved Uncharted series and while it did borrow some elements from that series, it really pushed the limits of...

Massively improved graphics; Improved sound quality; All current DLC included; Use of the light bar and speaker on DS4 is cool

Paying full retail for a second time just 12 months after buying the game on PlayStation 3 does feel a little strange

The Last of Us: Remastered

It's a funny thing, hype. It's funnier when something lives up to the hype, thus creating more hype, in an endless hype circle. When The Last of Us hit in the middle of last year, it was instantly hailed as the new bar for what gaming could and should be going forward.

The Last of Us Remastered Review

" The Last of Us: Remastered " remains a powerful and compelling game twelve months on. If you've already played the game, the basically full price (and no discount for existing owners) makes it harder to recommend. However, for newcomers, I have no hesitation in recommending the game.

The Last of Us Remastered

The Last of Us has one of the best stories in recent memory. Too bad the rest of the gameplay isn't as well done. With far too many action segments and repetitive puzzles, this survival action game gets bogged down by filler.
