The Last of Us is definitely something special, and Naughty Dog can be proud of what they have put up here, as this will probably be one of the better games you have played in the last few years and may continue to be for a number of years still.

The Last of Us: Left Behind – review

Keza MacDonald: Naughty Dog's narrative addition to last year's post-apocalyptic masterpiece is just devastating.

Perfectly bittersweet

Left Behind is a single-player add-on to The Last Of Us starring Ellie, the young female lead from the campaign. The content is split into two parts; one which shows what Ellie was doing while her companion Joel was incapacitated at the University.

Too many to list here; It's all fantastic

The Last of Us

The Last of Us is the type of game that could only be crafted by a developer willing to take risks. Were Naughty Dog to have thrown its money at yearly iterations of Uncharted, it would likely still have found its audience, but with The Last of Us it has struck out in a bold new direction that asks...

The Last of Us – PlayStation 3 Review

The Last of Us has been one of this year's most highly anticipated games, literally millions of gamers have been waiting patiently and impatiently for what has been tipped to be one of this generations greatest digital experiences, no small amount of hype surrounded it and that often spells...

Gripping story; Edgy and exciting combat; No way point markers or hand holding tutorials; Genuinely engrossing characters; Enjoyable multiplayer

16 hours isn't short; but your still going to be wanting more; Last section is a bit over the top hard

The Last of Us

starts off by introducing you to main character Joel, a single father living in Austin, Texas. Following a sudden and unstoppable outbreak of a cordyceps-like infection ravages not only Texas, but also the rest of the country.

+ Fantastic storytelling; + Stunning environments; + Impeccable voice acting; + Crisp gameplay

The Last of Us PS3 Review

The Last of Us features zombies, though it's more reminiscent of The Walking Dead than it is Resident Evil. The story merely uses the outbreak as a backdrop and instead focuses on the more interesting things, the effect that it has had on humanity for example, the extreme lengths that they have to...

The Last of Us Review

Success is something of a double-edged sword and one would suspect that beneath all the marketing and PR exuberance that the staff at Naughty Dog have had this on their mind throughout development and more so with the release date approaching.

The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC Review (PS3)

The Last of Us may have featured two strong main protagonists in Joel and Ellie, but clearly Joel's history and psyche are explored more thoroughly than Ellie's in order to better express the bleakness of the post-pandemic world.

The beauty of seeing innocence at play; Infected versus Hunter combat situations; The mall settings is so much fun; Ellie stands strong; even alone; Has everything that made the main game so great

Is a little short; Leaves you wanting more
