For a game that's six years old and been ported and re-released about as often as Half-Life, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim still has a strong set of sturdy legs. This is my fourth playthrough of the game and I'm still finding something new, a notion that makes double- or even triple-dipping a sound...

I am somewhat taken aback by some of the responses on this site. This is an amazing game that has been optimized for a truly mobile experience. We are all aware it costs money to port and optimize a game, right Is sixty dollars really too much for a console quality title on a mobile platform

Probably not worth buying at this price. I'd wait for a few months till it comes down.

While I am glad that Skyrim has been ported to Switch, there have been major cuts to the graphics quality as well as the still-existent annoying bugs. Would recommend however, for those who would enjoy playing Skyrim on the go.

Magic good port and something everyone who owns a switch should pick up.

An extremely high quality port of a fantastic game suggest that for the first time, or the last time, Skyrim is worth pulling on your adventuring boots for.

The dream that, to be fair, probably only a handful of complete weirdos ever truly had, is nevertheless now a reality: with its much-heralded release on Switch, in a DLC-complete edition, it's now possible to play Skyrim on the toilet. Or, more likely, in bed, or on a train or plane.
