This is a shame because each weapon has a different weight, and they all appear to be historically accurate. Occasionally, you may find yourself in a fight where there are no weapons to replace your broken one, so you have to fight with a hilt or a stick until you can find another.

Atlus is best known for RPG games. They have developed and published games since the NES era, but the Persona series is what really put them on the map. Anytime they get out of that RPG comfort zone, players and critics take notice.

Went wrong somewhere along the line. The original idea might have promise, but in practice it has failed. Threatens to be interesting sometimes, but rarely.

I love this game! Combat is realistic and very cool, also gory. There is none of this dodging and rolling in 100+ pounds of armor (like in Dead Souls). No, the combat is GREAT. Even your footsteps are heavy. Graphics are decent. I do not know why others have a problem with this game.

Other than the bad controls it is a nice enough game :) Pick it up while its cheap.

The Cursed Crusade is a lot like Metal Gear Solid. Not in any meaningful gameplay sense, unless Solid Snake has taken to slowly swiping away at mindless enemies in a lacklustre hack and slash style, but it does love cutscenes.

This is one of those games that really could have been a little bit better, Its not bad by any means, the story is about a crusader who try's to go off to the holy land to save his soul or something and just ends up fighting his way down eastern europe and taking part in the sack of constantinople...

ATLUS is one of those companies that walks the line between genius and madness. Unfortunately, The Cursed Crusade is on the latter side of this. This game is a sloppy mess: the cut scenes are all over the place, too long and have absolutely nothing to contribute to the story.
