I love the story and in-theory the game mechanics. Sadly the controls are awkward and make it difficult until you learn to gauge the sensitivity and timing. Overall, it's an excellent game with so many side quests and little side stories you can put 40 hours in and still have fun.

This game is awesome! This was my very first Spider-Man game I have so far, and it is an absolute blast. I guess that's why part of the title says "Amazing," and it's true!

Just like the movie, this spider man story should have never been released. The combat is terrible, the graphics look like a xbox 360 game, and easily gets repetitive. The storyline is even worse than the movie this game is based off. If your a marvel fan, you should definitely not play this game.

Ok game, passable graphics. The controls are so clunky that you get the impression it's punishing you most steps of the way. No inpiring combos or decent advantages during combat, feels second to Last-Gen games and others like Prototype, which has it's flaws but is more intuitive to work around.

Not that many missions though. There is also a lot of loading screens. But overall I am happy with my purchase.

I should probably explain. I love Spider-Man. Out of all the superheroes, he's the one that I immediately identified with as a kid. He's the one I watched through cheap cartoons and lousy live-action TV shows.

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a Spider-Man can. Unfortunately, Spidey still can't seem to make a decent video game. With the exception of Spider-Man 2: The Video Game in 2004, the comic book star has failed to impress critics and gamers alike on consoles.

Storyline will please fans; Web-swinging feels more natural; Lot of solid ideas

I'll begin the main section of this review with the visuals of TASM2 . While visuals are by no means the be all and end all in my book, you still hope that certain games hit a minimum standard, especially on the new gen consoles.

Follows a different storyline to the sequel movie; New web-swing mechanic works well once use to it

Visually does not look new gen; Heroic missions feel a burden and repetitive; Recycled dialogue; Unimaginative boss fights
