Dragon Ball FighterZ review

An accessible yet thoroughly entertaining competitive fighter, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a game for low-levels and super-elites alike.

The banter between old friends and enemies as they fight is great; It's very accessible, so expect plenty of mega blasts

The main menu's online connection is tenuous; The narrative framing is clumsy and unnecessary

Dragon Ball FighterZ

We're not 100% sure, but we dare say Dragon Ball is one of if not the biggest license adapted into our medium. There are a ton of video games out there inspired by this massive Japanese anime, this due to a level of popularity that has gripped several generations of fans.

Fantastic game, fantastic figure.

The game is just epic, I've always loved Tekken games and this one somehow is the best one yet. The collectors edition is one of the nicer collectors editions you get get in the genre, seems to be definitely worth the money.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Review

There has been no shortage of Dragon Ball games in recent years that have tried to capture the essence of the manga, anime, films and other spin-offs of Akira Toriyama's creation. Some have been decent.

"Fantastic"

Definitely brining it back to old school 3 on 3 days. Presentation is great and fanstic voice over. Will say the auto combos will help any casual dragonball fan but also does get spammed alot on online mode. And the wait for a match is not that long depending on your connection.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Review

It's interesting that it's taken until now, in an age of super-consoles and high-end PCs, for an anime series from the 90s to really feel like it's getting its visual just desserts in the realm of videogames.

Dragon Ball FighterZ review – anime authenticity

A dream come true for Dragon Ball fans, but also a highly competent fighting game that is a front runner for the best fighter of the generation.

Amazing visuals and great attention to detail for anime fans; Deep but accessible combat mechanics, with plenty of characters and an excellent story mode; Robust online options

There's nothing genuinely new in the gameplay, with a lot of obvious swipes from Capcom games; If you don't know Dragon Ball some of the character designs can seem repetitive

Tekken 7 Review – Daddy Issues Have Never Been So Fun

Tekken will always have a place among today's fighting games, but it will always be its own place, and Tekken 7 is the best embodiment of that mentality. They've made very little effort to conform to what other fighting games have taken for granted, even down to Tekken 7 ‘s use of 3D arenas where...

Creatively designed characters; Doesn't fall into fighting game formula; Solid PC performance; Engaging main story mode; Manages technical combat without expected frills

Underdeveloped side characters; Character customization is a step down from Tekken 6

Tekken 7 (PlayStation 4) Review

In short, Tekken 7 is a phenomenal fighting game, but it's not without issues. Players have hundreds if not thousands of exciting matches to look forward to. Grasping the complexities of movement and learning characters is an involved process that'll cause anyone to lose track of time.
