Tekken 7 Review – Daddy Issues Have Never Been So Fun

Tekken will always have a place among today's fighting games, but it will always be its own place, and Tekken 7 is the best embodiment of that mentality. They've made very little effort to conform to what other fighting games have taken for granted, even down to Tekken 7 ‘s use of 3D arenas where...

Creatively designed characters; Doesn't fall into fighting game formula; Solid PC performance; Engaging main story mode; Manages technical combat without expected frills

Underdeveloped side characters; Character customization is a step down from Tekken 6

Frustrating but amazing.

I die way too much, but then again; the last Tekken game i played was Tekken Tag Tournament 2 back in 2011.. But the graphics, music, involvement of the player and customisation options make up for the medium story. Must buy for ALL Tekken fans and even casual gamers. There are things to work for and look forward to. ONLY bad this is lack of characters, hopefully more are unlocked in later patches or (hopefully free) DLC :3

Tekken 7

For the longest time, Tekken was the holdout: a fighting game franchise that staunchly refused to fix what wasn't broken. Its graphics got better, and it added more and weirder characters to its roster of fighters, but rarely, if ever, did the series fundamentally change its gameplay.

Brawl in the family – Tekken 7 Review

It's a testament to how much the Tekken franchise has evolved; ever since the good ol' PS1 days, the 3D fighter has undergone some pretty distinct graphical and gameplay changes, and the seventh main installment shows this quite spectacularly.

Impressive graphical/technical performance; Tweaked mechanics accessible yet comprehensive; Has every previous game's history for newcomers; Cast is entertaining and diverse as ever

...But there's noticeable cuts to the roster; Story mode inconsistent with showcasing characters; Online mode spotty at times

Review: ‘Tekken 7' has some slight issues, but really makes up for it where it counts

Platform : PlayStation 4 (reviewed), Xbox One, PC, Arcade Developer : Bandai Namco Rating : T MSRP : $59.99 Introduction It seems that 2017 is the year of the fighter. ‘Injustice 2', ‘Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite', ‘Ultra Street Fighter II' just to name a few, but there's a pretty extensive list to...

Tekken 7 Review

Mishima impossible

Intricate combat; Entertaining campaign and character stories; Great soundtrack

Online servers are broken; Not much of a tutorial to welcome new players

(PlayStation 4 Review) Tekken 7

Tekken 7 has been making the rounds in arcades overseas for several years, and after undergoing numerous refinements and tweaks, it's finally made its way into homes. Upping the ante for more dramatic play are new techniques that can quickly turn the tide from a surefire victory to an inglorious...

Tekken 7 Review

Tekken 7 is the ninth entry in the long-running fighting game series that started back in 1994. Though it was only recently released on consoles and PC, it has been available in arcades since 2015. The original Tekken 7 launched in March 2015.

Didn't Keep It

I enjoyed the story mode on this game but it is very short! The arcade modes have no story endings so little point in completing those for every character. I don't play on online so can only comment on offline modes.
