Great lens

I bought this lens to help analyze product problems. Used on a D300, almost always on a tripod and frequently in locations requiring additional lighting (two Nikon Speedlights, reflectors.) Image authentication is almost always turned on. The results exceeded my expectations.

Consistent Output; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Nice Bokeh; Smooth Focus

A great product for the money

The lense is exactly what I expected it to be. I had previously taken some test shots with the lense at a local camera store. The lense is very quiet and produces crystal images. I'm a novice, but I've had success using the lense to take portraits. I'm very happy with this lense so far.

Excellent update to a well loved classic from Tamron

This is the newly updated lens which features quite a few improvements over the previous version. Tamron improved the build, added weather sealing, a faster quieter USD lens motor and their well known VC (vibration correction) which gives Canon and Nikon users in lens stabilisation.

Great Lens

I'm work in photography but consider my personal work amateur at best. I decided the kit lens I was using wasn't cutting it and started researching macro lenses for floral and insect shots. Initially I was set on the 60mm f2.0 but I'm glad I opted for this one.

Consistent Output; Durable; Lightweight; Nice Bokeh

Poor in Low Light; Slow Focus; Tough To Attach

Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro: A Short, Full-Frame Tele-Macro With Image Stabilization

Well, the new Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro gives me my favorite macro focal length, plus adds Tamron's proprietary image stabilization: Vibration Compensation, or VC. And I get all that in a lens designed for a full-frame D-SLR, in this case my Nikon D600.

EUROPEAN LENS

Extremely sharp even when used at its maximum aperture, the Tamron SP 90mm F2.8 Di VC USD Macro 1:1 is one of the best macro lenses on the market, comfortably outperforming its legendary predecessor with the same focal length.
