The Tamron 14-150 zoom is very useful to me when I am walking around, travelling, etc. as I can adjust my view from wide angle to telepoto without having to change lenses. The lens itself is very convenient to use.

A good product which compares well with the marques. The slight rattle at startup & switchoff is normal. Slightly overpriced when compared with Tamron's aps-c offerings, hence 4 stars. Good that it takes 52mm. filters.A perfect holiday lens.Balances well on Lumix G series or Olympus Em1 etc.
Good IQ, fast focussing, handsome body. However, I returned it as Tamron does not provide lens correction profiles nor was LightRoom able to automatically get the distortion data from the M43 metadata.

Dark corners at 14mm (when shooting raw; An optically stabilised version will tempt more owners of Panasonic Micro Four Thirds cameras
Over the past few years, mirrorless compact system cameras have dramatically changed the landscape in the photographic equipment market. The likes of Fujifilm, OlympusPanasonic and Sony have built up compelling alternatives for photographers tired of dealing with the size and weight of DSLRs, but...
The Tamron 14-150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III is a love it or loathe it kind of lens for Micro Four Thirds shooters. On the one hand, when scrutinising images at 100% magnification, there some quite obvious issues with the image quality.
The released version of this lens is without stabilization, then it mainly addresses owners of Olympus or GX7 bodies ... I suppose Tamron made this choice because of price, size and weight and it makes sense (according to me as an owner of two Olympus bodies !
Ratio size / weight / price ; Goog IQ given the range and price
Needs in-body stabilization ; IQ doesn't match HQ zooms or primes

Andy Westlake tests the only third-party zoom for Micro Four Thirds cameras
Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera systems promised us lenses that are more compact but fully featured. That promise has finally been fulfilled-and it took Tamron, the master of the All-in-One Zoom, to make it happen.
