Tales of Graces f Review

Friendship is a fairly common theme across games in the Japanese role-playing genre. You might call it cliche to center a game's story around the bonds that form between an ensemble cast of misfits on a grand adventure, and you would not be wrong.

Deepest combat of the series; Story breaks free of cliche; Titles offer high customization

Unbalanced difficulty; Weak prologue lasts too long

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!

Great value for money 3 great games. From the PS3 home screen there are 2 games options from the disk Tales of Grace and Tales of Symphonia. The only down side is the menu as soon as you load Tales of Symphonia it can be alittle slow if your inpatient like me XD and you end up loading the first...

A must have for RPG fans

I was not familiar with the Tales of series, but I really enjoyed Tales of Graces F. The game play is simple to learn but hard to totally master. The story is not extraordinary, but it is really nice. It's better than a lot of games available. It has really nice characters and level design.

This series has always played second fiddle (or third, depending on your point of view) in the U.S. to Final Fantasy in popularity, but Graces f should serve notice to all fans that the Tales series is prepared and able to take first string.

Enjoyable story; great characters; great battle system

Some of the music feels generic

Tales of Graces f (PlayStation 3) Review

The story in Tales of Graces f follows the protagonist Asbel Lhant throughout his quest to gain the power to protect his friends. It's a pretty cliché story but the varied cast of loveable characters more than makes up for it. It's actually told in three different time periods.

Another Tales game.

This is hands down the best Tales game to have come out. The combat is fantastic and I love the anime style graphics. The story was good and I really like all of the characters. I hope the future Tales games keep this new and improved battle system. Buy this game now.

Tales of Graces F Review

Like so many other entries in Namco's long running yet still relatively obscure JRPG series, Tales of Graces F often hides its light under a bushel. An HD makeover of a 2009 Wii game that never saw a western release, it does a great job of following the broad strokes of its genre, but it can take...

A Tale Worth Telling, And Playing

Recently I reviewed a game in the Tales Of series. I got to play Tales of the Abyss on the 3DS, and to be honest, before that I never heard of the series. Tales of the Abyss was above average, so that was my baseline until I talked to my good friend Vincent.
