This will be a very handy addition to my desktop. I wont have to switch plugs anymore. Very Nice. Update to first review. After having this hub for a quite some time now I see many bad reviews. It is still rock solid for me.

This hub is a powered hub and has great speeds; Seven ports is a nice feature; I tested a 13 gig file transfer with my Transcend USB 30 external drive; Download rate was approximately 106MB/s swinging in between 97 and 109 MB/s; Took two minutes and ten seconds; Power switch for power saving.

Only one con and not a terrible one; Not even sure if it is a con for most people; The data cable is 40 inches long and for me its about 12 inches too short for me; Wont reach the center of my desk; But that may just that my desk is huge; So I didn't remove a star for that

Item work fine. Came to my walmart store very fast. I used the site to store shipping method to save on the shipping cost. Its also safer than having my delivery guy leaving it on my front door all day long when i'm at work.

It's advertised as PnP on Win10, and it definitely proved to be that -- not even any visible driver installations. Currently I'm connecting it to a USB 3.0 card in my tower (the plug is external) and using the expansion ability to connect both a Seagate 5TB drive, and Iomega 3TB drive, a Transcend...

Unlike other USB Hub this one work perfectly with Windows 10. It.s fast and reliable.

The three powered ports have supported all the peripherals I've tried with them: gaming keyboard and mouse, bus-powered USB 3.0 portable disk drive. Just be aware that the four other ports are suitable only for thumb drives and (probably) conventional mice and keyboards.

This worked perfectly for what I needed it for, Cable length was good but the power brick was larger than I expected for USB Hub.

I purchased this unit after seeing that many of the positively reviewed hubs use the same chip as this unit. The price was reasonable, but not spectacular. The construction is reasonable and I like the fact that all 7 peripheral ports are on one side and the hub-connector port is on the reverse...

Not much to say really, It works well as expected
