TP-LINK TL-SG1008D Network Switch - 8-port

Just appropriate for a home office

Not reliable as few times I have to disconnect/connect a LAN wire to re-start the connection

the tp-link switch is used in the living room where I have 4 things hooked up to it and they all work as well as if I were using wifi. This is netter because what if any thing goes wrong with wifi then I am out until I get it fixed.

With computer systems sporting Gigabit LAN Port being a norm these days, a Gigabit switch makes it all the better by allowing your computers to communicate at Gigabit LAN speed.

1g hub

What's to say about a ethernet hub? It's black, has 8 ports and handles up to 1g. I got it to replace my old 4 port 100m hub. All because I dumped my VZ DSL and switched to the local cable company for an ISP.
