Review of TDK WR700 Wireless Stereo Headphones
Conclusions In the opinion of this serious music listener, the TDK WR700 wireless headphones are affordable, great-sounding headphones for casual or critical listeners. Their high fidelity sound is rich, full and detailed and the wireless capability is a real plus.

TDK WR700 Wireless Headphones Review

TDK WR 700 Review
Wireless headphones appeal to those who want to enjoy music/movies at home or on the go without the binding tangle of wires. However, the usual run-of-the-mill wireless audio solutions have a crippling limitation with respect to the wireless transmission technology they use - either Bluetooth or IR.
Pros:

- Comfortable
Cons:
- Bulky transmitter
- Range could've been better

TDK WR700 (Black)
Despite a few shortcomings, TDK's WR700 wireless headphones--which use Kleer wireless technology instead of Bluetooth--deliver good sound for a reasonable price.
Pros:
- Wireless headphones with Kleer technology
- good sound quality, especially for wireless headphones
- easy connection
- compatible with all audio devices using a 3.5mm headphone port
- adapter for AV receivers
- cloth carrying case included
Cons:
- Requires using the included receiver dongle, which is somewhat bulky
- transmitter and headphones each require two pairs of AAA batteries
- headphones could be slightly more comfortable

TDK is better known for recordable media than it is for audio hardware, but the compnay also produces a wide range of headphones, which now includes this new WR700 wireless set. They seem to be designed primarily for portable use.

Wireless headphones have been on the market for a long time, but they have generally lacked the sound quality of their wired components, making them easy to overlook for anyone concerned with crisp audio quality.

- Ears quickly become hot
- receiver a little chunky for use with mobile phones

Usually I'm not a fan of wireless devices since one way or the other they usually end up disappointing me with poor reception and/or broken connections due to interference. Of course, my Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers have never posed any problem, yet I wonder how some manufacturers nail this...
