From what we had it is a great upgrade, but these are the overall takeaways; - Clean, crisp image - Easy-to-use user interface - Light and easy set up - The Google Assistant is a great feature that works MOST of the time, but it doesn't work like a normal Google Home, and often our Google Home and Smart TV will get confused and one will answer the other; annoying but manageable. - I've found it a bit annoying that the TV Guide changes (as in, when you press the 'Guide' button, it will take you to either the normal guide or the FreeView guide, seemingly randomly)

I had this TV for already 4 months and the interface is really annoying. I had to check on the internet how to set the sleep feature on the TV which is extremely hidden. If you are waiting for a nice integration with Google Assistant, and be able to get recomendation of shows, and movies please lower your expectations as this is no the TV. I have in my living room a 4k Samsung tv (It is not a QLED) and the picture is better on the samsung. I use this TV on my room and once agin is an average TV. You need to change the default colours on the TV to have a good image, and believe me, it will get much better.

Bought it few weeks back and it was awsome. Quality screen and there is Netflix, Stand, Prime and freeview as well. And also can control by phone app t cast.

Was tossing up between this, samsung or hisense but decided to try TCL for our spare budget TV. We mounted but once turned on we didn't get any picture menu options and saw some cracks and air bubbles on the front of the screen (thought it may have been a screen protector) but was told it was panel damage. Can't prove if it was a defect, transport or our mistake during our installation so we are left with junk. Expected a better build quality as we had no issues installing our Samsung. One difference to note when mounting was the back / bottom protrudes about out 2cm from a standard wall mount so it won't screw in flush (at an angle) in the back so we used spacers. Samsung is flat and had clear easy mounting holes. JB hifi tried to at least help but informed panel damage is not covered under warranty.TCL support confirmed the same but only offered a replacement and free shipping (which costs as much brand new)

Happy with this purchase, was on sale. We weren't chasing QLED but it was about the same price. Not really sure what that offered but it's good. Has the functionality we wanted, takes a little while to get used to the remote, particularly when accessing freeview channels. Would recommend.
