Sunset Overdrive is many things - beautifully animated, good fun and draws inspiration from many of my favourite games. It's also one of the funniest games on any system right now. So why did I not play this more?

THIS GAME IS AWESOME! People have not been too thrilled with this game for stupid reasons. But over-all the game is great. It is funny, interesting, fun as all hell, and all around a great concept.

Awesome gameplay; fun gameplay

Insomniac's Sunset Overdrive ($59.99) is an open-world game set in Sunset City. There, you play as a downtrodden garbage collector for Fizzco, a corporation that launches an energy drink that ultimately turns its customers into mutants.

Delightful sense of movement; Colorful, well-designed world; Fun weaponry and character customization; Funny, well-acted story

Short, repetitive campaign; Annoying tutorial reminders; Typical open-world collect-a-thon bloat; Slow camera

The better the game, the easier expansion packs can rely on a more-of-the-same approach (see Mass Effect 2 and Diablo III). Mystery of the Mooil Rig! is wholly effective in its series of nine missions, with objectives recognizable to those who have beaten Sunset Overdrive.

Effectively capitalizes on Sunset Overdrive's strengths; The return of Brylcreem is the tip of the comedic iceberg; New locale means more areas to grind and kill OD

Overfamiliar mission types

I like the game, it play like a real thing is happenning,

Let's all get a mooove on down to the Mooil rig and save some people. Maybe. Probably not.

New traversal options are a nice addition; oil rig provides for an interesting playground; boss fight is pretty awesome

Looking for a realistic game Stay far away from this one. Looking for something really fun in ridiculous measure You just scored. Had tons of fun playing, finally a game with next gen graphics that's actually good.
