Sunset Overdrive is a welcome change of pace from the dour, serious AAA games we've been playing all year. Insomniac asks "who do you want to be?" with tons of customization options, some great weapons, and a very physical way to get around the city.

I loved this game. I bought the Xbox One White that came bundled with this game and if it hadn't I'd have bought the game anyway. The traversal mechanics are fun, and you do more damage and die a lot less if you keep moving.

Sunset Overdrive was one of the best video games to release in 2014 and was easily our favorite Xbox One exclusive for the year. If you liked even one of the games I mentioned above, check out Sunset Overdrive. It's definitely one of the more intriguing Xbox One exclusives to date, and worth playing for anyone that owns the system and enjoys the genre.

This is a fun game. Great value for money and if you want, you can pretend you are Josh Chan in Crazy Ex Girlfriend, disappointing Rebecca whilst you play.

All of this adds up to a relentlessly enjoyable experience. Just when I thought I was getting a little tired of the writing or combat, something unexpected is thrown my way, giving me plenty reason to stick with it.
