One of the best games on Xbox one. It takes bit of time to master the controls, but once get hang of it you can roam through Sun City without even setting a foot on ground. Weapon collection is awesome, so are the fights with villains.

We have not seen day time tv since my grandson got this for xmas
" Sunset Overdrive " is a really pleasant surprise in many ways. It's an outstanding looking title, with fantastic style, and gameplay to match it. It's much longer than I expected, and apart from the overly difficult final few missions, always feels like it's teaching you something new.
What can I say about my time with Sunset Overdrive that doesn't include the world "fun"? It's a difficult feat, I assure you. When grinding and shooting your way through the hordes of enemies roaming the streets of Sunset City, it's a thought unable to escape your mind.
Played for about 4 hours so far, and am really enjoying this game. Visually, it is gorgeous, the use of color and the design of the city is amazing, everything is crisp and frame rate is 100% solid. Most important, the combination of gameplay types is so much fun.
This is a very colourful game with lots of humour and pleanty of fin to be had. Delivery was very quick which was just what I needed so I could enjoy the game while on holiday. Best of all was that it fits through the letter box so no keeping an eye out for the delivery!!
Let's get one thing straight: if you didn't like Ratchet & Clank, you're probably not going to enjoy Sunset Overdrive. Insomniac have taken the irreverent characters and the daft humour from those
Gorgeous looking; Just traversing Sunset City is a joy; Player fun at the heart of everything
Humour won't be for everyone; Guns are slightly disappointing
Shallow, simplistic, and never quite as funny as it thinks it is, but there's still more energy and imagination at work here than most other new next gen franchises.
Some fantastic weapon designs that are a welcome relief from the shooter norm; The grinding and wall-running is great fun too, and a lot of jokes do hit their target
The combat, in fact everything in the game, is extremely shallow and very easy; Too little variety, especially in terms of enemy types and the simplistic mission design
Son loves it.
Challenging; Fun To Play; Good Audio; Graphics
Poor/No Multiplayer Mode
Sunset Overdrive is many things - beautifully animated, good fun and draws inspiration from many of my favourite games. It's also one of the funniest games on any system right now. So why did I not play this more?
