A Great Zombie Survival Game

This game is great for people who love to grow and build your own survival team and thrive. The zombies included is a plus. I wish they would have a better fighting system but other than that this game is an awesome 5 stars.

Annoying Bugs Survive An Otherwise Exciting Apocalypse

You sprint toward home base with a train of zombies in tow. Your run slows to a jog, and then a slow trot as your stamina drains. It's hopeless. Then the cracking of gunfire breaks through, and your rotten pursuers drop one by one.

State of Decay Year One

State of Decay takes users on an amazing zombie adventure through the lives of several individuals who are equipped with the bare minimum but a lot of heart. The differences between the release of the game in 2013 for Xbox and PC is very slight, but there is enough bite in the Year-one survival...

Great Game!!!

I never rated a game on here, but this game deserves the first rating from me. I bought this game as one of the first games on my Xbox One when I got it and I wasn't expecting anything like what I got. It was a really fun game. It's like walking dead meets GTA, SERIOUSLY!!!

State Of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition review – update of the dead

The Xbox Live Arcade hit arrives on Xbox One, but how much has two year's work and a more powerful console changed he game

Large open world doesn't pull any punches in terms of the zombie threat or the realities of life back at camp; Dynamic structure can throw up some difficult moral decisions

Almost nothing has changed from the original game, with terrible problems with object pop-in, frame rate, and collision detection; Bland combat and mission types, and awful vehicle handling

State of Decay Year One Survival Edition review

The original State of Decay is an innovative title that garnered Undead Labs a multi-year deal with Microsoft. Fresh from the apocalypse, Ben gives his thoughts on the game's Xbox One version.

A tough, systemically well-realised apocalypse sim that can creates thrilling gameplay moments; Bundled DLC adds plenty more gameplay value

Good systems let down a bit by presentation and a host of minor technical issues and bugs; Feels like a missed opportunity to properly improve the original release

Game Review: State Of Decay – Year One Survival Edition [PC/XboxOne]

The plot to State of Decay is a simple one; you begin the game as Marcus Campbell, an athletic store clerk that goes on a peaceful fishing trip with his good friend Ed Jones. However, when he returns, he finds that a zombie apocalypse has hit town and the walking dead has savaged just about every...

Huge world to explore; Life goes on behind the scenes; Death has a real consequence; Varied tactical approach to quests

Even with the visual upgrade; it's still not all that pretty; Glitchy A.I at times; Co-op would have been a natural addition to this edition
