In a sea of multiplayer-focused shooters, Star Wars Battlefront distinguishes itself as much by what it does as what it doesn't, and that comes at a price. Its old-school simplicity doesn't always mesh with its attempts to bring those ideas into 2015, and it lacks some of those back-of-the-box...

A beautiful recreation of Star Wars, and a solid if simple shooter. This is a game you'll love intensely albeit for a short space of time.

Star Wars Battlefront will deliver an incredibly authentic and immersive interactive entertainment experience featuring photo-realistic visuals and epic action in iconic Star Wars locations.

Battlefront's multiplayer-centric action is stylish and refreshingly simple, although it can feel more stunted than streamlined.

Fans have waited a long time for this one, and I'm happy to report that for the most part, they're rewarded with a game worthy of the wait. Star Wars: Battlefront is a winner and it's money well-spent for even casual Star Wars fans.

The lack of depth and small selection of environments

Nostalgia is a powerful tool. It signifies an emotional attachment to something, and that's valuable in its own right. Games like Shovel Knight or Pillars of Eternity wouldn't have happened if some didn't hold a longing for the Good Ol' Days.

It's not so much that Battlefront lacks content, so much as it does a cohesion of content. How much mileage you'll get out of the game depends on the manner in which you play online multiplayer. If you stick to one mode, that mode may grow drab relatively quickly.

It's been a long time since we had a decent Star Wars game besides the Lego outings and to a degree, the first Force Unleashed. The less said about the second one, the better…but its no coincidence that we are getting one now, just before a certain Episode 7 arrives… Star Wars Battlefront comes from...

The games no campaign missions, no in flight options for several crafts except rogue wing and x wing fighters, no option for ground assault craft, etc. I could on but there is not enough room in this review box.
