The final frontier lol

It's just like most other Star Trek games, silly running around, shooting, solving little puzzles. I recommend ya play this with another person as 1 player is annoying.

Moments of greatness... everything else needs work.

I've played a lot of Star Trek games in my life. I've been through the greats (Elite Force series) and the not-so-greats (STO anyone?). Star Trek's latest game, the first for the reboot timeline, is sadly in the latter category. Let me start with the redeeming qualities.

Review: Star Trek The Game (PC)

Star Trek The Game set out to venture into that harried space full of disease and danger, wrapped in darkness and silence, the “licensed game tied into an upcoming film†market.  The developers, the publishers, and Paramount were trying to make something that fit in between the two films, had...

The Final Countdown: Star Trek the Video Game

I'm a J.J. Abrams nut – a huge fan of all of his work. So, as someone that used to enjoy Star Trek thoroughly, only to have that Star Trek: Enterprise show with Scott Bakula ruin it, I was excited and curious to see how Abrams would revive the franchise.

I can't get it to work. Have not been able to play the game. I bought the game for myself. I was looking forward to playing, but no luck.

"All Hands Abandon Ship!"

Should you buy this Game- No. Why- Because it's not very good. TL:DR Analysis: Sorry MightyApe, but this one is purely a $5 bargain-bin time waster to be picked up in 2015/2016 sometime.

Star Trek – Review (360, PS3, PC)

After seeing Star Trek  presentations for the last two years at E3, I thought I was already sold on the game. The game was promised as an unmissable co-op experience, in development long before the soon-to-be-released film was in production, as its own unique chapter in theStar Trek reboot saga.

Star Trek review

Reflecting JJ Abrams' flashier, dumber Star Trek, the inevitable videogame spinoff is – you guessed it – a cover shooter. If you want to feel like the captain of your own starship, exploring the universe and seducing aliens, play Mass Effect.
