Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a faithful recreation of the PS1 classics. If you're a long-time fan, it's definitely worth a buy.

The nostalgia is the winning element of this game - they've kept true to the original trilogy and will hopefully appeal to a new generation. It's been fun seeing my friends (all in their mid to late 20s) reliving their childhoods... with better graphics!

Has a fan of the old spyro games on the PS1. I was excited when they brought the trilogy to the ps4, I purchased the before Christmas 2018 got the game home and it will not copy game from disk to my PS4. And your shop will not offer a replacement as I purchased the over 14 days....!!!!

Super fast shipping and the game is great! I've always loved Spyro. It was one of the first games I played with my son when first I introduced him to gaming. It was so great that they remastered these games and that we could relive the fun we had beating them over again with updated graphics.

The first game gets things off to a good start by redesigning the dragons to match their worlds (Artisan, Magic Crafter, etc…) but that's the only real deviation from the original games and that set me up for disappointment. The new visuals are nice though there are times where it interferes with gameplay. Gulp's boss fight for example it's a lot harder to see where his attacks are going to land. The camera was also a hassle during these battles. I ended up changing the camera to passive mode. It didn't solve the issue, but it reduced the amount of times I had to wrestle the camera around so I could see. Having the gem locator available from the start is great, but I wish the game told you about it. The same with the Atlas, I loved being able to fast travel between worlds. My ideal game would have had had number 2's intro and outro cinematics for each game, it would have been a great opportunity to do some worldbuilding, but at the very least I would have liked consistency between 2 and 3's flight controls (they invert for some reason and you can't change it). I would give the game as itself a 3 but it lost a star for not including the whole of the games on the disc. I honestly don't understand why they felt it was necessary to make us download levels
