I pre-ordered Spidey's latest Web slinging game, and WOW!! I am not disappointed. The freedom of movement around a bustling New York City, interacting with patrons of the city as well as laying the smack down on the more seedy crime mobsters.

The best Spider-Man game ever made… but only just, since it fails to move the superhero video game genre forward in any important way.

Sky high production values and an impressive open world map; Web-swinging and combat are fun, if shallow, and there's plenty of upgrades and side content

Almost every element has been seen before in previous Spider-Man or Batman games; Gameplay lacks depth and variety and the semi-grounded storytelling can be rather dull

Hands down, best game I've played so far. There is so many activities and things to do around town which help you level up and unlock awesome custom spidey suits. With fun fighting combat with everyday thugs to Spiderman's ne­misis' like Electro & Scorpion. The main storyline is equipped with lots of ass kicking opportunities, awesome Spiderman humour and jokes, and chances to play as other supporting characters. What really makes this game stand apart is how exhilarating swinging through New York is on Spider Webs and doing stunts through the air. Absolute must get for any Marvel fans. Also a big thank you to Mighty Ape for your extra speedy delivery, you never disappoint!

They've done it folks, Insomniac has made one of the best superhero games I've ever played. Marvel's Spider-Man is yet another exclusive jewel in both Insomniac Games and Sony's crown. They're going to need a scepter to go with that thing soon.

Whenever I think of Spider-Man I think of this youthful, eager superhero who refuses to be haunted by his tragic past. He's energetic, he's positive, and always willing to help out everyone in need. He is who he says he is – "Just your friendly neighborhood spider-man.

Such a good game I am thoroughly enjoying, would reccomend to anyone!

I bought this on pre order as it should have come with bonus content. I received the standard game with no additional content and have a very disappointed child. The game is fantastic but the service from very is appalling I'm never using them to pre order a game again.
