Marvel's Spider-Man Review

Naturally, in equal contrast to bringing (upgradeable) Web Shooters to an electrified baton, negative energy-charged spiked weapon, handgun, riot shield, automatic weapon, rocket launcher fight, Spidey can go dark and take on certain scenarios with stealth.

Spider-Man

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Spider-Man on the PS4. The Sony representative told me they would not send us a copy. I define that as they want no sales from Family Friendly Gaming Universe ever. We do a variety of things in Spider-Man.

Spider Man PS4 Review

With their great stories, evocative gameplay and kinship to the source material, the Neversoft developed Spider-Man games that were released on PSOne some 18 years ago have long held a fond place in the hearts of PlayStation gamers around the world.

Black Cat leaves you hanging - Spider-Man: The Heist review

More than anything, The Heist leaves you begging for more, and I guess that's what the idea was. It's just enough more Spider-Man to get you back into the swing of things, but it leaves you hanging with an abrupt ending and minimal new side content.

More Spider-Man; Cat and Spidey's relationship; That father question

Too short; Minimal new mechanics; No bosses

Spinning An Amazing Web

Like Batman: Arkham Asylum before it, Spider-Man raises the bar for one of the world's most beloved heroes.

Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC Review – A Silver Finish

Silver Lining doesn't give much of a glimpse of what the gameplay will be because it is still the same as it ever was. Using New York as a jungle gym remains exhilarating and pummeling Hammerhead's goons still thrives off the deep, fluid combat system.

Same smooth Spider-Man gameplay; Cleverly sets up the inevitable sequel; Plenty of smaller; more surprising moments

The city remains to be in its own separate menu; Tags

PlayStation 4 Marvel's Spider-Man MARVEL SPIDERMAN review

Spider-Man has been one of the most prolific and popular superheroes for Marvel since his inception, and that has spun off into him appearing in dozens of video games. Since the medium became popular, he's been the main character in several of them just in the past 15 years or so.

Tight, precise controls; fantastic gameplay, with everything serving a purpose by improving your character; mind-blowing graphics; great story and acting; lots of playtime for your money; Spider-Man is (mostly) a paragon of virtue and a good role model

Some side missions seem like odd, boring tasks to bother a superhero with; if you only play the main story your character will be very underpowered by the end of the game; some missions are difficult even on easy

PlayStation 4 Marvel's Spider-Man MARVEL SPIDERMAN review

An immensely enjoyable and fun to play superhero adventure.

Web swinging has a fantastic sense of freedom and control; Beautiful open-world New York; Likeable characters and great performances

Pretty much Spider-Man Arkham; Familiar open-world structure

Marvel's Spider-Man review

If you can get past the game's more formulaic elements and old school design decisions, you'll discover one of the Marvel icon's absolute best interactive adventures to date. The addictive progression path, engaging combat, and thrilling web-swinging not only overshadow the game's flaws, they make them fun in spite of themselves. And while many of the side activities feel like they were taken from a familiar open-world template, the main story path is far more absorbing. Brimming with favorite evil-doers, cool call-outs and Easter Eggs, some surprising twists, and even a number of unexpected playable characters, the narrative path is packed with fan-pleasing content. Whether you're a longtime follower of the web-head or only know him from his more recent cinematic outings, you'll have a blast beneath the mask.

Skips the origin tale tedium ; Intuitive, rewarding combat and traversal ; Deep, addictive levelling loop ; Fan-servicing story;

Open-world mission structure feels formulaic ; Some dated design elements/mini-games/QTEs ; Citizens are a bit robotic ;
