Unless you're willing to pay full price for an unlocked model, it is otherwise quite difficult to get your hands on Sony smartphones in the US. A lack of network carrier partners is to be blame, but that is slowly changing, with Verizon Wireless having their latest flagship smartphone on offer,...

Sony Xperia Z3 is 5.2 inch Full HD device running on latest Android 4.4 (Kitkat) OS. As it is packed with Snapdragon 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Quad-core processor and 3 GB RAM for excellent performance. It is also equipped with dual cameras. The 20.7 MP rear camera helps you to make photography.

Amazing performance; Excellent battery support; PS4 Remote Play

The Z3 might not be a significant change-up of Sony's flagship Xperia formula, but the combination of a bunch of minor tweaks and upgrades has made this handset one of the best on the market. I'll start with the standout feature of this handset: its battery life.

Awesome battery life without sacrificing high-end performance; Refined design is comfortable, stylish and waterproof; Fantastic display that's both crisp and vibrant; Familiar camera hardware is still pretty decent

Frustrating app prevents the camera from reaching its true potential; Software feels bland and outdated compared to the competition

Sony Xperia Z3 (T-Mobile)

The Xperia Z3v is an excellent smartphone , but Sony had to ditch an already-refreshed design to deliver a unique device on Verizon. The resulting phone looks more like the older Z2, while adding features like Qi wireless charging and unfortunate bloatware to curry favor with Verizon.

Slim, refined design; Dust- and water-proof; Excellent camera; Long battery life; PS4 game streaming

Wi-Fi could be faster; Sony and T-Mobile bloat

One of the best phones around: Sony's Xperia Z3 reviewed

Sony has been improving its smartphones so much that it's impossible not to see the electronics superpower as a serious competitor to Apple and Samsung, and here we are again with another model and what may well be the perfection of its Xperia range thus far.

Lovely build and finish that fits nicely in the hands; Water and dust resistance at IP68 certification; Unlike the Z3 Compact; the sides actually fit in well; boosting that water resistance; Great performance; Solid 4G speeds with Category 4 connectivity (150Mbps maximum; Excellent battery life; Can...

Very; very slippery -- it fell off our desks several times; Can get a little hot; No infrared controller

Best Purchase Ever!

Whereas technically I didn't purchase this product, it is absolutely worth the monthly bills that I get charged. Fantastic battery life, lasting myself just a little past two days and I'm a constant social networking user. Fantastic and easy to use. Absolutely worth however much you'll pay for it!

The fourth generation Sony Xperia Z-series phone is here. This is a new rendition of the flagship phone, which aims to dazzle customers by its sleekness, being waterproof and being equipped with an exciting 20.7-megapixel rear cam.

Sony Xperia Z3 review: Superb design and capabilities that best the Apple iPhone 6

Summary: Sony doesn't release too many smartphones on US carriers, but T-Mobile has a real winner here with the Z3. Matthew not only tested one out, he bought his own and put aside the iPhone 6 Plus.

Sony Xperia Z3v Review

Sony is just getting started in the United States. Its first carrier partnership came with T-Mobile and its Xperia Z3 recently arrived at the Uncarrier, but it also made its way to Verizon.
