Sony Xperia Z3

Like the Sony Xperia Z2, I don't know why the Z3 doesn't impress me hugely. On paper it's got all the right bits: 3GB of RAM, MHL 3.0, extended battery, high power camera etc. Yet the sum of those parts doesn't wow me in the way it should.

Brilliant battery; PS4 Remote Play is brilliant; Premium build

Bugs in the operating system; 4K still doesn't work properly

So far so good

I had a second thought before buying this phone because i have been using iphone for 3 years but just wanna let you know that this Sony Xperia Z3 is far way better than iphone. The camera is amazing and sound is very clear and it's very fast. It's highly recommended. Way to go Sony!!!

Sony Xperia Z3 review

The Sony Xperia Z3 is another incremental improvement on Sony's distinctive-looking handset, but these additional tweaks finally give it the means to compete with the rest of the flagship opposition.

Review: Sony Xperia Z3

Sony has an Android problem. For years now the consumer electronics giant has been making some truly head-turning hardware loaded with Google's mobile OS. When it comes to actually using the hardware, though, things almost always go south.

Great looking hardware; Snappy processor and plenty of RAM make the Z3 a speed demon; Shoots 4K video; Waterproof up to 5 feet

Glass back makes it a fingerprint magnet-and a slippery one at that; I dropped and shattered mine; Finicky camera produces inconsistent photos; Stability issues aplenty; Mystifying software choices, including pointless redesigns of great stock Android apps

Sony Xperia Z3 review: The no-frills flagship

Six months on and Sony has updated its flagship smartphone with the Z3. Not enough time has passed for the company to release a brand new device. In fact, it's best to think of the Z3 as a ‘lite' version of the widely praised Xperia Z2.

Great display; Exceptional camera; Long battery; Water- and dust- proof; Glass and aluminium body

Rare flagship without IR transmitter; No finger scanner

Sony's reimagining of its premium phone lines through the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact bring a renewed sense of style and some top-notch performance as well, although the cameras could be better. To be honest, I wasn't that thrilled with the Sony Xperia Z2, released earlier this year.

Sony Xperia Z3 Review

Sony Xperia Z3 is definately a remarkable flagship from SONY, although the difference between it and the previous Xperia Z2 isn't that much, but Z3 has some additional features like the PS4 sync and the screen video capturing.

Water and dust resistant; 20MP camera; connection to PS4

built in battery

Sony Xperia Z3v review

It's been over three years since I've reviewed or even used a Sony smartphone. The last time was back in 2011 when Verizon Wireless sent me the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Android smartphone .

Dedicated camera shutter button; Waterproof; Very good battery life; Can link to PS4 gaming console via home Wi-Fi

Heavy; Brick like; Very bright status LED

Sony Xperia Z3

Sony has produced a decent camera in the new Z3, with some notable limitations. It's not the best camera on the smartphone market, but its overall performance is pretty good. If you don't want to invest in a second standalone camera, the Sony Xperia Z3 is a good choice to replace lower budget...

With the same glass body we've been seeing the Xperia line-up from Sony, the Z3 has not made any big changes. On paper too, things look pretty similar to the Z2, although the Z3 is now waterproof and dustproof (no resistant business now) and has curved edges, making it easier to hold and operate.
