The Sony Xperia Tipo is truly a compact smart phone in Sony's Xperia series. It has its own fixed target audience but this phone is much better than others in this price range. Its 800 MHz processor, 3.2 megapixels camera and Android 4.0 version are its main key features that gives it edge over its...
The Sony Xperia Tipo is the latest addition to the Xperia smartphone range, and it's undoubtedly the baby of the family. It comes in at around £100 (around $160), with an 800MHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 2.5GB of internal storage, a 3.2MP camera and a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 display.
So far so good, no complaints except im concerned the back casing will not last too long, its a bit flimsy. However these are replaceable. The on/off button on the top is small, so im also worried how long it will be till it gets pushed in from being pressed all the time.
Sony has introduced us with this mobile called Tipo . It is a featured phone but comes with a small screen size which is not very trendy . Even though the looks are fantastic with a Sony logo behind it .
Cheap, compact, stylised and up to date, the Sony Xperia Tipo is off the bat a contender in the budget phone category with its £89 price tag, pocketable form factor and characteristic design.
Android 4.0; Impressive battery life; Great design
Despite its faults, I would happily recommend the Sony Xperia Tipo to users considering upgrading to a smartphone but not willing to break the bank. For what you pay for, the Tipo delivers, and I think it would be tough to find better performance at such a low price.
The phone at first seems as a small phone in terms of dimensions....but, don't underestimate the phone based on its size... The Visual Appeal of this phone is Impressive for a phone at this price range .
Samsung Galaxy SII is a fabulous handset as long as you keep it away from the ***** and water. What's done is done (or rather undone when three said it was not possible to cook) and a Sony Xperia Tipo has been purchased. It feels good in the hand, not luxurious, but perfectly OK.
The Tipo is essentially the baby smartphone in the Sony Xperia range of devices. In India, this is the first entry-level Xperia smartphone. In a price segment where smartphones clearly look, feel and perform with the "budget" aspect in mind, the Tipo isn't being held back by that.
Stable performance; Good battery life; Android ICS out of the box; UI doesn't bog down performance
Small display may not suit everyone; Camera isn't very good; Display doesn't have adequate crispness
