Sony WH-CH510 Wireless On-Ear Headphones WHCH510B review

The Sony WH-CH510 aren't the technological tour de force we might associate with Sony headphones, but they don't have that kind of price-tag either. They’re not the last word in sophistication, but there's charm.

Impressive battery life; Good spec and ergonomics; Remarkably assertive sound

Remarkably assertive sound; Plastics feel nasty

Not Great for Phone Call Quality

These are great for listening to music, but when I received &/or made a phone call with them the quality of the audio received was not received well by those I was attempting to communicate with, & the headphones needed to be removed & disconnected in order to have a clear conversation. :-(

Sony WH-CH510 Wireless On-Ear Headphones WHCH510B review

Of course, we all want cheap headphones, but Sony WH-CH510 is pulling too much down on the requirements.

Excellent battery life. USB-C connection and fast charging.

Plastic and cheap feeling. Cannot be used with cord. Too little padding makes them uncomfortable.

With solid audio, great battery life, and Bluetooth connectivity, the Sony WH-CH510 are excellent bang for your buck. A slightly flimsy build may be a dealbreaker for some, but for most it’ll be a worthy sacrifice at that price.

Incredibly affordable; Solid audio and battery life; Lightweight and compact

Somewhat flimsy construction; No 3.5mm jack or USB audio

Sony WH-CH510 Wireless On-Ear Headphones WHCH510B review

The Sony WH-CH510s are very straightforward. If your priorities include grab-and-go functionality and a long battery life, these certainly deliver. The sound quality gets the job done, and the minimalism of the design insures that nothing unnecessary will get in your way.
