Earlier this year, we reviewed the WF-1000X , Sony's first foray into truly wireless audio. A premium headset with a focus on audio quality and design, we found it to be an acceptable first generation offering. The all new Sony WF-SP700N on the other hand is quite a different product.

It's such a pleasant and futuristic dream. Being utterly free from the entanglement of wires. Listening to JT and calling your mom while doing downward dog. But I'll be honest. I've given up on truly wireless earphones.

A handy companion when you're on-the-go, it keeps unwanted noise out while giving you the option of letting them in. Sound quality is good and it fits comfortably, so we definitely think you should check out this headset if you're in the market for one.

The Sony WF-SP700N are actually a really impressive pair of truly wireless earbuds. These are perhaps the best model that we have tried so far. The only real downside here is the battery life.
