The Sony WH-1000XM2 is the best noise canceling headset in the market. Exceptional battery life, excellent comfort levels and the uncanny ability to turn down the volume on your surroundings make it an excellent purchase for anyone who flies a lot or simply wants a quieter environment around them.

Great headphones

Well after my Bose in ear buds final called it a day I hit the market for a new set of headphones and I have to say these Sony noise cancelling headphones really do the trick, cuts back round noise down to a minimum and yes you can't hear the nagging other half lol.

Sony 1000XM2 noise-cancelling headphones review: imperfect best

The champion of noise cancelling returns to face a very competitive field

Exceedingly comfortable; Noise cancelling doesn't get any better; Long battery life

Fiddly touch controls; Sound quality has been surpassed by better rivals; MicroUSB charging is so very 2016

Review: Sony WH-1000XM2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphone

Midway through last year I switched from Bose QC35's to the new Sony MDR-1000X noise cancelling headphones for travelling. While the Bose QC35's were excellent the Sony's were just that little bit better, than even the newer Bose QC40.

"Good, but niggly UI things could be better"

These are definitely a premium product: you're getting what you're paying for. But as a premium product, they don't quite have some things right. For a start, it's crazy that you can't wireless while charging.

Sony WH-1000XM2

Ever since the MDR-1000X, Sony has stood alongside Bose and Sennheiser at the forefront of noise-cancelling headphones. Now, the Japanese manufacturer wants to raise the bar even further with the WH-1000XM2.
