Fantastic Sound

I purchased this on a whim when I heard it playing in the Dixon's at Heathrow. I was amazed at the sound quality and power. We listen to several other brand but not matched the Sony. It is so simple to use, is portable and has sound quality far beyond what you'd expect from such a small device.

Sony SRS-XB41 Review: A speaker for the party people

A party speaker for people who party

Better IP67 build; Sleek design; lights and all; Battery life

Lower mids lacking in clarity; Live mode sucks; Apps need work; Being connected to two source devices can cause weird issues

Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Bluetooth

The Sony SRS-XB41 is an improved version of its predecessor, but the question we want answered is does the XB41 only get the bass right or can it handle other genres of music too

Very well constructed with IP67 rating; LED lights are definitely fun; Decent battery life

Bass can get overpowering at times; Battery life could be better; Heavy

Sony SRS-XB41 Bluetooth speaker review

As far as form factors are concerned, the Bluetooth speaker isn't changing much these days. At this point, manufacturers know what people want (a fun feature, big sound and an even bigger battery) and aren't ready to fix what appears to be a perfectly good formula.

Strong build quality; Water-resistant; 24-hour battery life

Light show sync issues; Recessed mids; BIG bass; Live Mode lacks detail

Review of the Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

If small speakers could do everything we wanted, then large speakers wouldn't exist. But the fact of the matter is, a smaller design has a huge impact on the kind of sound you're able to produce from a speaker.

Sony's Glowing Bluetooth Speaker Didn't Take Me to the Club, Just Back to 1992

It's unclear when the Sony Sports boombox became my must-have gadget, but I think it was around 1992. With its bright yellow case, the portable music machine could be spotted from across the pool like a big bright sign that screamed, "I am rugged and cool!

Solid sound quality and durability

Wacky lights

Sony recently refreshed its audio lineup in India with three new Bluetooth speakers and six pairs of wireless headphones. We have already reviewed the Sony WI-C300 , which is the company's most affordable pair of Bluetooth earphones to date.

Punchy bass; Waterproof; Good battery life; Light effects are cheesy but fun

Repressed mids; Sound lacks clarity; 'Live sound' is a gimmick
