Sony SRS-X11 Review
Portable Bluetooth speakers come in all shapes and sizes now, but few are quite as travel-friendly as Sony's SRS-X11. The SRS-X11 is a tiny 2-inch cube that can be tossed in a bag or carried by the included strap. For $69.99, however, the speaker is overpriced for what it delivers—an average audio experience with a limited control panel. For those willing to spend the money, it's possible to pair two SRS-X11s with a single sound source and assign one speaker the left audio channel and the other the right. While this allows for a wide stereo effect, that's a $140 investment that could be spent on a far more powerful-sounding stereo Bluetooth speaker. If portability is your highest priority, the SRS-X11 is perhaps worth your attention, but keep in mind there's no shortage of inexpensive, small Bluetooth speakers out there.

The Sony SRS-X11 is a miniature portable Bluetooth speaker that would get a higher rating if it were priced lower.
