Great Picture Quality

Had for a few weeks now and very impressed with quality of pics being taken. however, the zoom ring is loose compared to the 24-70 mm F2.8 gm, on the 24-70 the zoom is where you have to actually turn it to move it while on the 70-200 you can accidentally bump it and it will move with no effort.

MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) describes how well a lens can reproduce fine details, measured as the degree of contrast achieved between finely spaced lines.

You DO get what you pay for. This lens is NOT cheap nor light weight - let's just get that out first. It's more expensive than any competitors' 70-200 f2.8 lens. But if you are a Sony FF mirrorless shooter, and you want the absolute top-notch quality out of your gear, this lens will not disappoint...

its the best 70-200 f2.8 lens ever and the only option for e mount anyways. its a little expensive though

After investing into the sony e mount range, this lens was my next step. My wife covers me in shooting the 24-70 nikon, and she wishes to stick with it. This lens creates the best images from a 70-200 lens I have ever seen.
