Autofocus failure in AF-C on the Alpha 9

I bought this only 2 weeks ago and have used it on three excursions. I was surprised to find out how versatile it is, exactly as the sales consultant at Wex Photographic told me. I bought it because I trusted what he said. Just as sharp from wide-angle to telephoto.

I put this lens on a Sony a6000 body and tested it against my favourite f1.4 Sigma wide prime. The 24-105mm just outmatched the good Sigma glass in every way. This monster metal beast fetched details in the shadows and highlights, and even picked up the faint blue tones in pine needles.

I bought this lens because I wanted two things: a step up in quality from my Sony 28-70mm kit lens and a greater focal range for travel. Although this lens adds quite some weight to your bag, the results are worth it.

I needed a lens for video work. I usually use prime lenses and zoom wasn't on my wish list but I have tried this 24-105 f4 lens and I fell in love with it. The lens is sharp, very sharp. Auto focuses beautifully while recording video on a7sII. Works great in a rig and on a gimbal.

It is an average lens extremely overpriced. Quality pictures aren't good for that price. You can't compare it to Zeiss at all. What can I say. Aye AF work very poor with this lens. Lens returned.
