Sony Ericsson Cedar: Sony Ericsson - practical, easy to use, and still green!
I have had the Sony Ericsson Cedar phone for 2 years and it has never let me down. A common annoyance with my previous phones over the years was that the battery would wear out so soon, as I am an incessant texter! I used to have to take my phone charger with me everywhere.

A decent but basic phone for the price
I spent the August bank holiday in North Wales, and had a fantastic time with family and friends. The only downside to the short break away, was that during the weekend, my phone (a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8) started to play up in all sorts of ways.
Pros:
- simple to use and good battery life
Cons:
- A little outdated
- no touch screen

Amazing little Phone
So very happy with this phone. Every single part of it is perfect. Even the camera takes good quality photos. Its ease of use, features and signal is the best I have ever owned. Living in a remote area means the signal must be grreat and this phone is. Its also a "green" phone.

this let me Down less than 6 months
The mobile stopped working within 6 months. I have got a problem freezing and grayed screen. I can see the problem is related to the screen. I'm returning to the premania. i don't if this was refurbished or not. for time being I cannot recommend for any one.

Sony Ericsson Cedar
Everything on the phone is great except for 2 minor issues: 1. if you lack 3G connectivity, you'll have trouble and browsing through the web as the EDGE/GPRS connectivity can really get onto your nerves. 2. no front facing cam to have a 2-way video call.
Pros:
- Geo tagging
- timescape style widgets on the home screen
- battery life
- multi taksing capabilities
- IM style text(SMS) conversations
Cons:
- no front cam to have 2-way video conversation

It's not me that owns this phone, it's my brother, but I have used it fairly when I didn't have a phone. First off, the good stuff. This phone has the original chocolate-bar style layout, and it looks very nice.
Pros:
- Looks nice
- useful web browsing
- widgets
- battery cover is easy to remove
- Eco-friendly
Cons:
- Curved back

Pure and simple
Give it a time and you'll not want another phone. Small, convenient, usefull -attributes that many expencive models/makes are lacking of. I doesn't look fancy, so it is safe from other people sticky fingers, yet a precious communication jewel in your pocket.

Sony Ericsson Cedar review
When it comes to helping save Mother Earth, Sony Ericsson puts rival mobile manufacturers to shame. Its ever-growing crop of enviro-friendly GreenHeart handsets have been the only real option for the serious eco-conscious gadgeteer and its latest effort, the Cedar, is an ultra-affordable alternative...
