The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 ($249.99 direct)( at Amazon) is one of two lens-style cameras that the company is marketing for use as add-on lenses for Android and iOS phones. There's no LCD; instead, the 18-megapixel QX10 sends a Live View feed to your phone's screen via Wi-Fi. It doesn't match the image quality of the other model in this series, the QX100( at Amazon), but suffers from some of the same usability and performance issues. small; light and a good resolution

It keeps disconnecting consistently from the WIFI connection it establishes with the smartphone; Almost useless, as you need to keep making it connect with the phone after each photo taken; VERY UNRELIABLE..

With the QX10 attached to my phone, I shot the best images I've ever taken "with my smartphone." The QX10 has image quality on par with other similarly priced point-and-shoots, only using a smartphone.

Overall the QX10 generated some nice photos under the right conditions, and the zoom was useful to have compared with using a phone on its own. However we struggle to see who would buy this device.

Fantastic bit if kit. Pop it into my day bag and it's there if ai need to produce more than a snapshot. produced some nature shots that my friend a semi professional photographer described as impressive.

The product by itself is great, I've used one of these at the showroom. The camera takes great pictures, but it's battery doesn't last long and it also drains the battery of your smartphone. The display on the phone is a bit laggy with the attachment, and the setup needs a bit of time.

Gonna take a trip to observe and photograph birds. Not need to take as many objective for small plans this camera will be ideal. It is true that some necessotarão photos of some aftercare via Photoshop or similar, but this did not disqualify.

Poor Image Quality

I was looking for a lightweight yet powerfull add-on for my phone to take real pictures. This little device from Sony answered my requirements. I can take a picture with the lens from my phone very easily. Sony improved the app interface to let you tweak the picture parameters.

I'm using it for one month it gets good pics on day, not so good in the night or low light but even much better than any smartphone mean nokia Lumia 1520 or iPhone 5s. For it price I recommend it :)
