Ultra-compact and incredibly versatile, the Sony CyberShot HX90V proves to be a fantastic travel companion. Sporting a Zeiss 30x optical zoom lens and 5-axis image stabilization, there is little that is out of reach for this camera; even when you are shooting handheld.

Some noise in all sample images; common with an 18-Megapixel sensor of this size; Lower Resolution EVF doesn't give you the realistic feel that many of Sony's other EVFs do; Higher ISO images show very high levels of noise; Burst shooting stops at 10 images; Performance was a little slower than...
The Cyber-shot DSC-HX90 is Sony's latest travel compact. It offers an amazing 30x zoom range in a body that will easily slip into your pocket. The HX90 looks and feels good too, and the inclusion of optical image stabilisation makes the zoom useful when shooting with the camera in the hand.
Compact; high-quality frame; Super-versatile lens
Limited dynamic range at higher ISO; No RAW support; Noisy; low-detail images at higher ISO

Sony already dominates much of the compact digital camera market here in the UK, but the company is looking to cement that position with two (technically three) new travel compacts; the HX90 and HX90V, and the WX500.
Worth the price. Better to go with this rather than heavy Dslr's.easy to carry n positive is 30x zoom.
Previously owned the DSC-WX350 model and was very pleased with it. This adds 30x zoom, GPS and electronic viewfinder. It is a bit larger and heavier but the additional features are good.
We've upgraded for the third time to the higher end in the series over the years. Never been disappointed by the image quality, features, and zoom factor of this compact camera. Even at the Queen & Adam Lambert concert we got nice crisp pictures and videos in the half dark all the way from the nose...
Beautiful compact camera. Lots of excellent features with great results. Highly recommended.
I have had this for a little over two years. I love the view finder feature. Unfortunately it started doing strange things this year. Sometimes when I go to shoot the screen inverts the picture and forces the camera into the timer mode. Four hours later or the next day it is back to normal.
