bought this item as a starter camera for myself ,absolutely mint so easy to use ,close up is phenomenal ,only downfall i would say is for price should come with memory card but other than that excellent

"I purchased this camera mainly because it was cheaper than any alternative superzooms. I've had about a month to test it, and am very satisfied. The zoom is surprisingly stable, I'm able to leave my tripod at home while hiking and still take decent zoom shots.

I've had several Sony Cyber-Shots over the years and I was so excited when I received this for Christmas. However, the excitement was short lived. It would randomly cut off while zooming and taking pictures. Randomly cut off and reset while adjusting settings.
