I've tried everything to get the sound and clarity from my TV. Two different major brand receivers, multiple sets of speakers, and three different Bose systems. The Sonos is the only one that did it for me! I no longer have all those wires with and my wife is really happy I'm finished experimenting.

My perspective is from that of a Bose Soundtouch 300 user for the past few years. I felt like something was just not right with the whole Bose soundbar experience, don't get me wrong the audio is good but the IOS app and operation was just clunky and not polished.

The sound while watching TV or Movies is awesome. Crystal clear voices. Excellent wide spread front three channels. Playing music is fantastic. Much better than I thought it would be for music. Paired with the Sonos Sub and it is a fantastic experience.

I have a large Family Room 20 x 24 so I will probably adding a couple of more small Sonos speakers and maybe even a Subwoofer to really fill up the room but even with just this sound bar the sound quality is excellent and the bass is rich. Set up was pretty logical.

Very expensive for what it is but quality is high and integration with other Sonos equipment easy. Would not have bought this if it was my first Sonos product but I went in eyes open and it does sound lush. Physically much bigger than I expected

A much simpler and more elegant solution to sound than wiring behind walls and installing speakers in walls. Good quality build and great sound.

I bought this today. Had it setup & ready for use within 20 minutes. Am absolutely blown away buy the amazingly clear & crisp sounds. It works through my Samsung smart tv, iPod & iphone. It plays everything wirelessly through wifi.

Put simply, the Sonos Playbar is the best soundbar we've ever tested. Deep, rich sound combined with incredibly well thought out design and Sonos' flawless multi-room audio system put this box on another level to all of its rivals. It's just a shame it costs so much. Better start saving.

Whether or not you like the thick, slab like design (we're quite taken with it), the Sonos Playbar could not have been designed better; It's a beefy 5.4 kilos and 90cm wide, but once it's on, you soon stop noticing it's there.

There's little to fault the Sonos Playbar...except for one thing; All this comes at a cost; The Playbar price rings in at an eye-watering £599; When you can get respectable rivals for less than £100 (albeit, rivals without streaming music services built in), that's a tough call to make.

Bought this a few weeks back to go with a new TV. Having already got a number of Sonos speakers, this was the only sound bar option I was looking at and it's not disappointed. Easy integration with the TV and when not watching, can stream music on it independently, or group it with the other Sonos...

Wow the sound is amazing, easy to set up via the app from the App Store. Would never go back to any other speaker system and I've had a few in the past. Streaming music is also easy via the app and when paired with 2 Sonos play1's all I can say is wow.
