Fantastic sound quality especially coupled with the sub
Price is an issue here; but quality does outweigh; resale is strong and you won't be disappointed; beware if you have a cat or a dog that sheds hair it sticks like glue to the shiny sub !

Had Sono's Playbar for 1.5 years now. Did not take long from Playbar was bought to Suben came. The plank delivers more enough TV sound, but if you want some fill and punch, MUST you have sub, I think.
I was tossing up between the Beam and the Playbar. My friend has the Beam, and its good, but this is far superior. If you have a big room (especially without carpet), the Playbar is a no brainer. I also got the sub and 2 x Ones for surround sound. Cant beat it.
This is a speaker that produces absolutely wonderful sound! Top shelf performance!
Best product and brand an amazing ambiance of sound surround in the house.
Throbs with Sonos quality; Massive music selection; Superior to built-in TV speakers;
Optical connection, not HDMI; Expanding the system is pricey;
I recently had the opportunity to see - and then take home and test, for a bit, the new soundbar from SONOS appropriately entitled the SONOS PLAYBAR. Sonos has, heretofore, been known as the wireless music company, and rightly so.
Music sounds like music: natural and full, but still with plenty of space; Ease of use and setup is unparalleled, as expected from Sonos.
In large rooms (18 ft distance from TV to viewer) the stereo field felt a bit narrow; making us wish for a "wide mode" option
Today's TVs have benefited from huge advances in engineering and manufacture, and they look amazing. But they only look amazing; in most cases, the sound they produce is as flat and as thin as the panel itself.
Sonos doesn't launch products too often, but when it does pull back the curtain on something new, it's almost invariably worth the wait. The PlayBar seems like a natural progression for the company, and it's clear that a lot of thought and planning went into its design.
Looks great; Works with existing TV remote; TV sound is clearer; louder & wider; Works as a Sonos ZonePlayer; Can be augmented with Sub & Play:3s
Full 5.1-channel setup is expensive
Sonos has established itself as the king of multi-room audio, and has traditionally been focused on providing sound for music lovers rather than film fans. However, given that the humble soundbar is the fastest-growing piece of kit in the audio market, the company has decided that's its time to turn...
Fantastic design and build quality; High-detail; wide and engaging sound; Easy streaming from Spotify and suchlike; No HDMI inputs
Creating a Sonos 5.1 system is expensive
