I love how it combines old school and the new school sonic. I play the old version and my son plays the new version. That helps since it is only one player.
Awesome game. I am an avid sonic fan but recently most pf the games werent living up to the classics. This one has great gameplay, and tons of missions.
I got this for my eight year old son. He really likes it. It's fun, not too easy, but not too hard either. Great buy.
I have boys 6 and 8 and they love this! It is not complicated for them to play.
I am quite disappointed with this game, it is fun, but they cutted almost everything, there is no video, and the graphics is not the best thing in the world, but the game is still playable.

Fast and fun gameplay; Loads of challenges to complete; Near perfect reflection on Sonic's career
TEEEEEEDIOUS boss fights; Would've loved more levels to blast through
Ah, the Sonic games, highlights of my youth. The early 2D titles were colourful, exuberant platformers, filled with thrills and spills. Sonic the Hedgehog's focus on speed and quick reactions was a revelation, while its flowing, undulating terrain made the game a journey through strange and...
The essence of Sonic; 2D levels are a joy to play through; Plenty of challenges to keep you occupied
Still problems with the 3D camera and controls; Bosses aren't too hot.
Let's just pray on bended knees that it doesn't take another set of poor incarnations before we see Sonic appear again with such splendour and delight. The foundations have certainly been laid for another epic return. Long live Sonic the Hedgehog!
Lush graphics; Amazing Speed; It's Sonic at long last
Frustrating drops; Framerate can be choppy
Last year SEGA gave us Sonic the Hedgehog in his original form with Sonic 4: Episode 1 . Instead of taking this game further, Sonic Team are celebrating 20 years of the spiky blue hedgehog with Sonic Generations .
