A few months ago, the world saw the release of the Western-developed Sonic Mania , a game that I would argue is the best in the hedgehog's decades-old franchise. Meanwhile, as Sonic Team were busy finishing up their newest title, I was confident that it would be at least alright.

A long time fan, I pretty much gave up on the Sonic franchise after Sonic Unleashed, those werehog sections too monotonous and the game as a whole a complete turn around for the series in a way that left me feeling alienated.

I bought this off Smyths as it was the cheapest anywhere I searched. The game arrived early (as always).This game is short but excellent and the amount of free content being released on the PS Store is outstanding. If you are a Sonic fan and you own a PS4, this is one for your collection.

Great game, my kids love it. Would recommend it.
