Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing is a Mario Kart clone. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it has to be said.

It's been a long time coming, but when SEGA announced they would plunge Sonic and his peers into the karting world, you would have been hard-pressed to find as much as an eyebrow raised across the gaming scene.

First Impressions My reaction is Even before reading this review, if you're already thinking that this is just Mario Kart with Sega characters, then, well… you're right. But in it's defense, it's actually quite good.

Nintendo's plucky plumber has had a vice-grip on the console go-kart racer market. Crash Bandicoot, the animals from Madagascar , and even the Nicktoons have tried to usurp Mario from this throne, only to be completely outclassed.

Super Mario Kart remains one of my favorite games of all time. I can play it at a moment's notice, have a total blast and keep doing so long after everyone else in the vicinity is ready to head to bed or work or whatever it is that normal people do.

A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

Wii owners: Play Mario kart instead PS3 owners: Wait for Modnation Racers 360 owners: Go suck my d***

Sega trots out a few familiar and newer faces for their latest racing game. For everything they've learned, they never make it a truly personal experience. Darn that multiplatform curse! guys could make kart racing on PS3 something worth our time.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is exactly what it should be: a fun, easy-to-play arcade-based puzzle platformer with lots of shooting for good measure. Mechanically the game works perfect, it is fast-paced but smooth and kept as simple as possible.
