I've gotten about half way through the game and have totally lost interest. Which is sad because I had spent hours and hours playing the first one. That does not include the many many hours I played online multiplayer.

2010's surprise hit returns with a bigger budget sequel and the promise of the most realistic sniping action ever. But is it really on target?
The team missions are good fun and surprisingly cinematic; The sniping is enjoyable and offers quite the challenge on hard mode; Good music
Rigidly linear game design and technical incompetence, with terrible artificial intelligence and very poor use of CryEngine; Hopelessly clichéd plot and bare bones multiplayer
I feel that first and foremost I need to point out that I love playing the stealth angle in games. Also, despite my poor aim, I love sneaking in slow and sniping foes off from a distance while I stay safely in the shadows.
Concept: Boil down the intense act of sniping into a below average, by-the-numbers affair Graphics: Muddy textures, an inconsistent framerate, and bad water effects distract from the action Sound: Get ready to listen to a too-cool-for-school sniper spewing out phoned-in military lingo Playability:...
There are two kinds of people in this world: those who like being a sniper and those who despise it. Okay, so it might not be quite like that, but for fans who like using such virtual weapons in military games, there isn't exactly a wave of games dedicated to your love of zooming down that scope and...
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a prime example of a developer attempting to cash in on the generic, gun-loving " Call of Duty " market, and if that's what you're into or you're simply looking for a game to kill some time with, you'll probably find some degree of enjoyment here.
+ Good-looking visuals; + Diverse environments; + Clever enemy AI
- Generic and repetitive; - Forgettable and cliche campaign; - Multiplayer is completely unnecessary
Crouch. Aim. Hold your breath. Squeeze the trigger. Watch your target collapse into a lifeless clump of bone and flesh. The deathly satisfying mechanics of sniping may not excite the usual run-and-gun crowd of first-person shooter fans, which is why sharpshooter missions are typically used to spice...
+ Gameplay offers a good mix of mission types given the inherent limitations of sniping; + The CryEngine 3–powered environments are beautiful in spots
? Couldn't multiplayer have shipped with more than two maps
Entertaining sniping action let down by frustrating AI and rubbish stealth sections.
Picking off enemies is fun; CryENGINE 3 environments look decent
Enemy AI is as clued-up as a blank crossword; Stealth sections are dull and temperamental; Either too easy or too hard; depending on difficulty level
Its not a bad game but its not a gr8 game either, its a bit glitchy through the game in single player mode but its got good graphics and good gameplay for 25pound its not a bad price but i wouldnt pay more the 29pound for it thats for sure.
A generally enjoyable game. The shooting is challenging, but fun; specifically on the hardest difficulty. However, AI and hit detection seem to be buggy for much of the game, which can hinder it quite often.
