Okay I bought this after playing zombie army trilogy and was a noob to the sniper elite series. Jumping into the multi player mode on first go was a huge mistake. Confusing maps and no clue as to what was going on.

X-Ray Kill-Cam; Making those impossible shots; Simple but fun multiplayer

I purchased this game after playing its predecessor (Sniper Elite v2) for free through Xbox gold. This game is much better than I anticipated. The game features multiple game modes (Xbox: various multiplayer modes; campaign; and challenges: survival and over watch).

A small improvement on the last game but until the issues with the artificial intelligence and other bugs are fixed Sniper Elite will always be off target.

The sniping works great and the x-ray vision (almost) never gets old; Large maps allow for a lot of freedom in how you tackle a mission; Some fun multiplayer modes

Glitchy, unsophisticated artificial intelligence ruins the tactical and stealth elements; Low tech graphics and poor sound design also spoil the effect

Good game with good graphics - but runs on steam. It would have been much better had it been direct play. Unless you are a fan of steam, dont buy!!

Sniper Elite 3 is rough around the edges and lacks the polish that you would expect from a next-gen game. But underneath it all is a decent campaign, co-op missions and an extensive multiplayer that nearly makes up for its flaws.

Sniper Elite 3 is the best example of its genre, full stop. A fantastic sharpshooting experience is interspersed with more considered, more competent stealth and action, and the array of tools and tricks available to Karl Fairburne is impressive indeed.
