Sniper Elite 3 is still a better sniping game than a stealth game, but at least the series has finally managed to create a fair balance between the two schools of gameplay.

Sniper Elite is great if you stick to stealth and being a sniper. Game play with hand to hand combat, using other guns, ect is not on pair with other...
The Sniping and the Visuals
game play when not snipping
I play a lot of FPS and other sniping games, but I found this the most engaging.
This game has great mechanics and gives you the freedom to play the game the way you want; Just remember to save often
The graphics aren't of the highest quality but the bullet time scenes are well done; Some AI are poorly designed and implemented
When it comes to first- and third-person shooters, I've never been one to play as a sniper. As much as I admire the power they wield, my aim isn't very good and I quickly grow impatient. I would rather run and gun, perhaps with a powerful shotgun or dual-wielding futuristic laser pistols.
I remember years ago when i got so bored of playing the same games over and over ...... Anywhooo! i saw Sniper Elite II game play on Youtube then there was a link to Sniper Elite III the one detail that caught my attention was the kill cams, really drove me nuts to see it so i purchased Sniper Elite...
This game can get really hard. You can change the frequency of the and Xray camera, which shows in Xray vision EVERY body part breaking. Some cussing that isn't horrible.
If there is one thing that Shooting games have always needed, it's more graphic violence. Well, at least, that's apparently the premise behind Sniper Elite III, the latest instalment in Rebellion Developments' tactical shooting series.
I'll admit that I was a little skeptical going into Sniper Elite III. I've never been a big fan of military shooters and I'll often go out of my way to avoid video game sniping. But despite my numerous hang-ups, the ultra-violent sequel instantly won me over and left me eager for more.
Its AI is still the village idiot but there's still plenty of fun to be had here regardless. Put up with its niggles and you'll get your money's worth.
Sniping enemies is immensely satisfying; Huge; sprawling stages with multiple paths; Delightfully grotesque slow-mo X-ray killcams
AI can be a bit "see no evil; hear no evil; Detection is too harsh; evasion too forgiving; Lack of melee attack makes for sloppy close-up combat
I have never played any of the Sniper Elite games until now. This one, while good, requires some more polishing to be a really good/great game. However, with updates and patches, greatness could be achieved! I've played Sniper: Ghost Warrior and Sniper: Ghost warrior 2.
