Took soooo long to finally link with Alexa, now working fine. Worrying that you can use it on standby, remote starting and scheduling but instructions say to not let water sit in it but rather empty it after use. Defeats the need to have a smart kettle.

Very stylish kettle and works well. Initially wasn't able to link it to google assistant which caused great frustrations, but it seems the smart life app has now been updated to be able to to do this… Luckily before writing this review which has meant I've bumped it from 3 stars to 5 stars. It's still very new though, so hoping it lasts the distance.

Brought this specifically to integrate into Google home. The kettle is controlled via “smart life app” which you then link with Google home. Unfortunately it says the smart life account is linked to Google home but no devices have been added to the smart life account. The kettle can be controlled via the smart life app which is fine, so not sure what the issue is. I've spent hours trying different solutions with no success.

Would be 5 stars if the first unit I had didnt fry itself before the first time use, and not working with the Smart Life app as stated on the box isnt helpful, had to install the Kogan app to get it to connect to the wifi so bare that in mind.

Bought this largely as a bit of a joke so that we could book the jug downstairs while we were upstairs. But now we actually prefer this kettle over others!

It does what it says, so convenient to let the kettle start by itself as part of morning routine. Won’t turn on without water so its pretty safe. Using this with my google home ecosystem and it has been pretty seamless.

Easy to setup and pair with google home. Setup a schedule for early morning for a nice warm kettle for morning coffee

Was easy to set up and works with Google Home so I can boil the kettle and have it ready before I've even stepped out of bed in the mornings. One thing to note, precise wording is needed to get Google Home to boil the kettle remotely; ‘hey Google, turn on kettle’ works.

Really happy with the Kettle, it's quiet, fast, has WiFi and Google assistant, and the light and glass outer is fun. I used the Kogan app to set it up and didn't have to install yet another app, so that made me happy too.

Go to set it up and wont connect, thought I would try to plug it in closer to the router in case that was the issue. Before I even plug it in I smell something funny, thought nothing of it, plug it in and nothing. Try it back in the kitchen and nothing, smell the bottom and sure enough its cooked itself before I even have a chance to get it working in the app or even one boil
