Sleeping Dogs - Review

To do so you must infiltrate the Triads, China's biggest organised crime syndicate, earning your stripes with the criminals while maintaining your cover and making busts for the police.

The Good; Play as a cop and a criminal; Engaging; dramatic story; Stylish; well executed combat system

The Bad; Driving sections could be stronger; Different areas could be a bit more distinct; Relatively short by open-world standards

Sleeping Dogs PC Review

Sleeping dogs is a big game, there is no doubt about that, with around 30 hours of gameplay should you wish to pick every reach of the side missions, although there are plenty of hidden objects littered around the game world to keep you distracted if that is what you wish, I managed to complete the...

Sleeping Dogs review

Winston Chu has a bulging, tattooed body, a gold-plated gun and a massive square head. He's a gangster, so that face is locked into a permanent scowl, a symptom of years of steroid abuse and a childhood under the fist of a psychotic mother with an unhealthy love of cleavers.

Sleeping Dogs

Overall, Sleeping Dogs is a lot better game than I think most people would ever have thought a year ago. While not perfect, the game does a lot right, and it does it differently enough to make it stand out from the crowd.

Most games that are canceled don't come back to life, and those that do aren't usually worth playing once they're released.

If you've never heard of it, Sleeping Dogs is an open world third person action title, in which you can traverse Hong Kong in all manner of cars, motorcycles and boats as Wei Shen - a police officer who is going undercover to take down the Sun On Yee triad organisation.

Great game but plauged with performance and control issues.

I would rate it about a 85 and with better mouse and keyboard control I would bump it up to 91. Fix all the SLI and Crossfire issues and it would be a solid 95 and a strong contender for game of the year.

Sleeping Dogs review

The story behind the development of Sleeping Dogs is almost as interesting as the stuff you get to do within the game itself.  The game started out being the next planned chapter in Activision's True Crime series, even getting an advertisement through a teaser trailer at the Spike Video Game...

What does it take to survive as an undercover cop who infiltrates one of Hong Kong's most ruthless criminal organizations? If Sleeping Dogs is any indication, it takes martial arts prowess, good marksmanship, driving skill, a reckless willingness to leap from one speeding vehicle to another, and the...

Savage melee combat; Alluring atmosphere; Fun driving and gunplay; Varied missions; Numerous collectibles to hunt down and other enjoyable diversions
